A misty dawn on the mountains, a bronze sunset across the expanse of the mighty Brahmaputra, the clang of prayer bells at a monastery, life moves at a serene pace in the North East. One begins the tour at the picturesque city of Gangtok, capital city of Sikkim where orchids bloom on the hillside. Then journey to Guwahati, Manas and Kaziranga wildlife sanctuaries.

Delhi to Bagdogra by air, on by car to Gangtok. Visit the Deer Park and orchid Sanctuary.
Day 2
Excursion to Tashi View Point for a panoramic view of the majestic Kanchenjunga peak.
Day 3
By car from Gangtok to Siliguri/Jalpaiguri to connect with overnight train to Guwahati.
Day 4
Visit the Tea Auction centre and Kamakshi temple, built in Assamese style in Guwahati.
Day 5
By jeep to Manas Reserve on the Bhutan border to see the tiger, gaur and golden langur.
Rihno In Khaziranga National ParkDay 6
Morning and evening jeep safaris in the Manas Reserve.
Day 7
Drive from Manas Reserve to the Kaziranga National Park. Overnight at the Forest Lodge.
Day 8
Safari on elephant back to see the unique one horned rhino, found only in India.
Day 9
Drive back from Kaziranga to Guwahati.
Day 10
Guwahati to Calcutta-Delhi by air. Transfer to international flight for onward destination.
