THE PARADISE ISLAND
It
is easy to run out of adjectives when attempting to describe the natural beauty
of the small tropical Indian Ocean island paradise of Mauritius. The volcanic
island Republic, covered with lush forest, streams and waterfalls, and fringed
with palms, dazzling white sands and teeming coral reefs, lies east of Madagascar
just south of the Equator.Mark Twain is quoted as having said that "Mauritius was made first, then heaven was copied from it", and anyone who has experienced the island would no doubt agree with him.
DAY 01 ARRIVE MAURITIUS
Upon arrival transfer to hotel. The day is free for you for relaxation after a long flight and laze around the hotel near the beach. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 02 FULL DAY NORTH ISLAND TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed on a full day Guided tour to the important sites located in the North Part of the Island – Port Louis, the capital city, Caudon Water Front, Pamplemousses Garden and La Citadelle. At the end of the tour visit Grand Bay area. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03 FULL DAY SOUTH ISLAND TOUR
After breakfast, leave for a full day tour of the charming and mystical South Island visiting Chameral – The Coloured Earth and Casela Bird Park. Also visit Grand Basin – one of the island’s two natural lakes. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 FREE DAY
Breakfast at hotel. While day is yours to relax and spend time in shopping around or explore Mauritius on your own. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05 FULL DAY ILE AUX CERF TOUR
After breakfast, leave for a full day visit to “Ile Aux Cerfs” – the paradise island. Enjoy various water sports facilities like parasailing, water-skiing, undersea walk, big banana, speed boats etc. which are available at extra cost. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 FREE
Another day free for you to spend on your own lazing around at the hotel or go shopping or move around on your own wherever you feel like in the Island.
DAY 07 DEP. MAURITIUS
The whole day is free for you after breakfast for relaxation or independent activities till you are transferred to Airport for your flight back home.
