India's geographic, climatic
and vegetational diversity make it the home of 1200 bird and 350 mammal species,
many of which are unique to the subcontinent. A tradition of respect for all
forms of life in addition to the growing concern for environmental protection
has resulted in 75 national parks and 421 sanctuaries in India. Several tours
featuring wild life reserves are possible. However we are including only two.
