DELHI GWALIOR SHIVPURI ORCHHA KHAJURAHO VARANASI 7 Days/ 6 Nights


Discover the heart of India as you travel through Madhya Pradesh, a landscape of verdant forests, soaring hills and silver rivers, once Kipling's India.
Day 1
Departure Delhi to Gwalior by the convenient Shatabdi Express reaching Gwalior around noon. Transfer to hotel. After lunch visit Gwalior fort and the many palaces inside. Overnight at the hotel.
Temples of KhajurahoDay 2
Drive to Shivpuri Madhav National Park to see the abundant wild life there and have lunch at the Tourist Village Restaurant. Return to Gwalior in the afternoon. Evening free. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3
Drive from Gwalior to Orchha, the capital of the Bundela Rajputs between 1531 A.D. and 1783 A.D. After lunch visit Jehangir Mahal and other beautiful monuments. Stay at Sheesh Mahal.
Day 4
Drive to Khajuraho arriving at about lunch time. Check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit the breathtaking 10th century Khajuraho temples of the Chandela dynasty. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Full day excursion to Panna Mines to see mining of gems and Rewa to see the white tiger in the Maharaja's palace zoo. Overnight at Khajuraho.
Day 6
Fly to Varanasi, the holiest city for the Hindus. Afternoon city tour and evening visit the Ghats.
Day 7
Early morning boat ride on the river Ganga. Depart for Delhi by air.
